Greetings Everyone,

As you know this Sunday, besides being the Good Shepherd Sunday, is also the day in which the Church celebrates the 57th World Day of Prayer for Vocations. Therefore, the Diocesan Vocation Office is promoting vocations that day by having a virtual Come & See Discernment Group for those discerning a call to the priesthood and religious life. The invitation is for two separate groups that day, high schoolers and post high schoolers. You will find further information on the flyer attached.

This virtual Come & See Discernment Group will operate through Zoom. I hope you all get the word out to your parishioners and families about this virtual event, especially those who are discerning. I need all of your help in promoting this event!

After this event, the office plans to continue this virtual discernment group on a bi-weekly; if not, a monthly basis.

ALSO: Just wanted to let you all know that, in preparation for the World Day of Prayer, the Vocation office has created its own Facebook page. On it I have started a video novena for vocations, so please feel free to join the page and pray with me as we promote vocations. And please feel free to share your own vocation story on that page.

You can find the Facebook page: @SBDioceseVocations.

Thank you all and let us continue to promote vocations within our Diocese TOGETHER! I believe in this time of great upheaval God is calling men and women to RISE UP! Let us be the one to respond to that call.
